Redify's app works in three basic steps
Consumers use the app to scanany bar-coded products, primarily consumer package goods.
The app reports whether the product contains Chemicals of Health Concern or CHCs and if so how many.
Pushing Alternative button presents alternative products containing fewer or no CHCs that are available in the store where the consumer is standing as well as others online.
So far we have
Redify Inc. is a technology startup that has built a fully functional mobile application that empowers consumers to make informed health decisions about the products they purchase. The app works simply by scanning any bar-coded product worldwide, and the app determines whether the product contains CHCs or not. If it does, the app provides alternative products in form of in-app ads for user consideration.
Redify app makes it essentially pointless for users to keep reading product label to try to decipher whether it’s ingredient formulation poses health risk or not; the app simply identifies CHC in products, gives you alternatives, and you decided whether to purchase the tainted product or it’s alternatives.
Redify's mobile application will generate revenues and profits from four different sources:
There are a number of trends that are converging to make Redify Inc. the ideal marketing solution for advertisers and products makers including:
Increased demand for "safer products"; 940,000,000 google searches monthly.
187.5 million people in the U.S. owned smartphones, 77% penetration.
Mobile internet searches surpassed desktop searches in 2014.
89% of smartphone users receive mobile ads and 66% visit a business
eMobile accounts $40 billion sales in 2013, $75 billion in 2015, and projected to be $150 billion in 2019
In-app mobile ad spend will reach $16.9 billion by 2018, compared to $3.5 billion in 2013
Mobile barcode users will show considerable growth, reaching nearly 38.6 million adults by 2014
Among US retailers polled in the fall of 2010, 60.7% reported planning to beef up their existing mobile web presence or app.
We currently need to raise $500,000.00 to build a monetizable fully functional redify app for North America. $250,000.00 of this sum would go to the development of the app. $100,000.00 would go for licenses and purchase of 3rd party cpg database. $150,000.00 would go for operational cost. Once we demonstrate userbility and monetization of the app, we can go to VC to raise the sum needed to scale into exponential growth. Investment exits are expected in three to five years after the launch of fully functional app.
